Bought a used Aeon 2 Closed and can't put it down, amazed by its deep, powerful sub-bass, nice soundstage and imaging that nearly matches their Andromeda.

After about 10 hours with the Aeon 2 Closed is quite happy: ample bass, slightly recessed mids and sharp treble tamed by the included pads, with excellent fit, comfort, isolation and folding design.
Found the Aeon 2 Closed one of the best under $1000, with good tonal balance, slammy planar bass, clear mids and treble that wasn't too sibilant for their sensitive ears.
Bought the Aeon 2 Closed and within a month one channel started intermittently going quieter; a service visit didn't fix it and Dan Clark didn't reply.
After trying the ATH-M50x and DT 700 PRO X, bought the Aeon 2 Closed and was blown away, finding it incredibly comfortable and liking that it collapses; done trying headphones.
Has owned the Aeon 2 Closed three times and prefers its smoother tuning over the Noire, noting it sells for very reasonable used prices.
Found the Aeon 2 Closed incredibly detailed and wide for a closed back, but its treble peaks made cymbals unnatural and some tracks harsh, and the filters muffled detail.
Had the Aeon 2 Closed and found it technically fine but oddly dull and lifeless.
Temporarily swapped their Ether C Flow for an Aeon 2 Closed with perforated pads and loved the build and folding hinge, but found the sound merely fine and fatiguing from excess mid-bass and upper mids.
