Owned the E3 alongside the Stellia for a year and finds it more versatile and better in almost every aspect, though less immersive.

Replaced their Aeon 2 Noire with the E3 and finds it an excellent all-rounder, better than the Celestee.
Bought the E3 after the Noire X and finds both fantastic, with little competition at their price.
Liked the E3's sound and preferred it to the HD800S and Utopia, but disliked its looks and fit and didn't keep it.
Demoed the E3 several times and found it a very nice headphone, far livelier than older Dan Clark models, though it sounded wrong on an OTL tube amp.
Bought the E3 after trying it at an audio show and was blown away compared to Meze, Focal, Audeze and ZMF; finds it getting better with time on an iFi Gryphon.
Finds the E3 tuned perfectly for their ears, with the best build of their headphones, surprising soundstage and detail and no fatigue; only the bass texture trails their Dusk IEM.
Had a friend's E3 for two weeks and rated it a solid 8.5/10 that hits harder than the Arya Organic, but found nothing special about it and preferred their Susvara.
Heard the E3 at a show alongside the Caldera, AB-1266 and Utopia and found it the clear winner with perfect tonality.
Blind-bought the E3 and finds it energetic and lively with slam that blew them away, though the slam faded after about 100 hours; no regrets.
After owning many high-end headphones got the E3 and sold everything else; finds it perfect.
Auditioned the E3 beside the Empyrean 2 and found it very clear with pinpoint resolution and spacious imaging, but with less slam and rumble.
Owns the E3 and Aeon 2 Noire and finds the E3 clearly better, with the dynamics the Noire lacked.
The E3 became their favourite headphone after upgrading from the Aeon Closed X: exceptional tuning with real punch and slam, not fatiguing, no EQ needed.
Wasn't a fan of other Dan Clark headphones, but after hearing the E3 in a shop thought about it all weekend and went back to buy it.
Bought the E3 as their endgame closed back and finds it sounds good and not fatiguing, recommending it over the Sony MDR-Z1R.
Finds the E3 has plenty of deep, detailed bass and slam when driven balanced from their Violectric amp.
Bought the E3 to review and found the accessories lacking: the case doesn't fit the cable and the heavy VIVO cable is unhandy.
Owns the E3 and calls it phenomenal, easily the best headphone they've owned.
After three months finds the E3 the most comfortable headphone they've used, with roomier cups than the Noire X, and close to their ideal tuning.
Finds the E3 really good on a FiiO K11 without EQ and much less fatiguing than their EQ'd LCD-X, though with less bass.
Runs the E3 from a Qudelix T71 and finds it sounds fantastic, calling it the best headphone they've heard.
Recently bought the E3 and finds it more mature, balanced and versatile than their Focal Clear OG, making it their new daily driver.
Uses the E3 as their daily driver, the most balanced in their collection with deep clean sub-bass; fixed an early hotspot by adjusting the cups.
Bought the E3 as a beginner and worried it was a mistake, but enjoys it more and more the longer they listen.
Owned the E3 and found it a rare do-everything headphone, but sold it because it was a bit intense for their ears.
Owns the E3 and finds it exceptional for sounding natural and open like an open back with well-balanced tuning, clean separation and powerful sub-bass.
Finally received the E3 after 10 weeks and finds it sounds pretty good, but clampy and hot on the ears.
Finds the E3 their jack-of-all-trades: super balanced and detailed with the least EQ needed, a bit less soundstage and impact, chill in the treble.
Owns the E3 and finds it significantly better in the highs than the Noire X.
Finds the E3 far and away the best closed headphone they've used, close to Harman with great separation, comfortable but analytical and not as airy as an open back.
Enjoyed the E3 more than the Noire XO, finding it less sharp and a great all-rounder for any genre, though it needs a good amp.
Owns the E3 but doesn't enjoy it: hard to drive and so bright the treble needs a 4-5 dB cut to sound natural.
Owned the E3 twice but finds it ugly, its cups make their ears hot, and it feels lower quality than the Stealth.
Tried and returned the E3, finding it sounded like many others with a mid-bass bump and lacking the Stealth's sub-bass.
Owns the E3 and Noire X with no channel imbalance; the E3 suits their needs perfectly with a slight EQ on the right amp.
Just bought the E3 and is unsure about the stock tuning, realising they prefer a bit more mid-bass than Harman.
Bought a used E3 and finds it more comfortable than their Noire X with larger cups, and it can simply disappear in ways other headphones don't.
Tried the E3 in a shop and found punchier but more analytical bass and less exciting mids than their Kennerton Arkona.
Tested the E3 at an event and was floored, preferring it over the Stealth and Expanse.
Demoed the E3 and Noire X and found the E3 bright overall but not peaky, without the Noire X's shout; would choose the E3 if money were no concern.
Got the E3 and the sound blew them away, their favourite ever, but it hurts their large head even after the screw-removal mod.
Loved the E3 when they had it, though it always had a subtle restraint in dynamism and bite.
Loves the detail and resolution of their E3 but wants something warmer.
