Recently replaced their Sony MDR-Z1R with the Aeon 2 Noire and is blown away by how much they like it.
Has owned the Aeon 2 Noire twice and finds it great, but its Harman-leaning tuning can sound a bit bright to them; not worth double the Aeon RT X Closed unless money is no object.

Bought the Aeon 2 Noire for mobile use but was displeased with the sound and returned it after a Focal Elegia outperformed it at half the price.
Uses the Aeon 2 Noire with a Mojo 2 as a great all-rounder for travel that takes EQ well, though reaches for the Edition XS when alone.
After owning the Aeon 2 Noire would highly recommend it for comfort alone and finds it a great all-rounder.
Really likes their Aeon 2 Noire as a relaxed, comfortable headphone to chill with, compared to their punchier Focal Celestee.
Owned the Aeon 2 Noire briefly and found it very well tuned but lacking dynamics, so returned it.
Loves their Aeon 2 Noire, choosing it over the Celestee for larger, more comfortable pads and a wider soundstage, though it is warm and not very dynamic.
Finds the Aeon 2 Noire ridiculously comfortable, wide-sounding and more detailed than their DT 1990, with impressive sub-bass, though less engaging than their Focal Clear.
Calls the Aeon 2 Noire their favourite and most comfortable headphone, but is on their third pair after channel imbalance problems.
