Just got the Chu III alongside the Zero:2 as first IEMs and couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Tried the Chu III against their own Chu II: only slightly less bright, so not worth getting if you have a Chu II or Zero:2.
Loves their Chu III; it smokes their 7Hz Zero:2 with better low-frequency extension and much cleaner bass, across many tips.
Bought the Chu III with their own money: smooth, mellow and warm-leaning with controlled bass and a dip that keeps it nearly sibilance-free; small and comfortable though the all-metal shells get heavy on long sessions. Prefers it to the Chu II most of the time.
“CHU 3 is simply a smoother and more mellow version of CHU 2, that being said it’s done in a way that makes this iem sound both familiar and have a character of it’s own.”
Bought the Chu II, lost it, then bought the Chu III: cheap and good enough to enjoy music on the go without worrying about them.
