Their Thieaudio Valhalla, the most they have spent on an IEM, has been a bit underwhelming so far; they may sell it.

Found the Valhalla really big and sold it.
Their first serious IEM, the Valhalla, causes pressure and discomfort inside the ear canal; its nozzle is wide but short.
Doesn't notice pressure with the Valhalla and likes Tang Sancai balanced tips on it for fit and sound.
Uses medium JVC Spiral Dot Pro tips on the Valhalla: comfortable without deep insertion, with good seal and full bass.
Finds the Valhalla has much less canal pressure than other BA IEMs, helped by its shorter nozzle.
Returned the Valhalla: it sounded good, but their new Crinear Reference wasn't worse, just different.
Owns the Valhalla among a large collection: detail retrieval is excellent and it is brutally honest about mixes, very smooth with the BA timbre they love; soundstage is hard for them to judge.
