Recently got the Simgot EW300 with a mic cable for about 70 dollars and finds it quite good for the price.

Upgrading from the Chu 2 to the Simgot EW300 was a huge upgrade; they use the gold nozzles for more bass.

Owning both, prefers the Simgot EW300 over the Hexa as much more engaging and musical.

People call the Simgot EW300 sibilant and harsh, but it's fine for them.

The Simgot EW300 had too little bass for them; they prefer a more tactile set at that price.

mixed

The Simgot EW300 is really hard to hate; they struggle a bit with its piezo timbre, but 4.4mm tames it.

positive

Recently bought the Simgot EW300 and couldn't be more pleased for the price; only the cable's splitter ring gets loose.

positivegreat value

The Simgot EW300 fit really well and had nicely extended treble, but its sub-bass and mid-bass lacked impact for them.

mixed

The Simgot EW300 sounds miles better than their Galaxy Buds 3 in a quiet room, with natural sound, strong separation for FPS games and good vocals.

After about a year, their Simgot EW300 is a good IEM but the right side keeps getting quieter until they can barely hear it.

Got the EW300 with a Moondrop mic cable for about $100 and finds it fantastic so far.

Tried the EW300 a few weeks ago and fell in love with it for Zutomayo and Vocaloid, wishing only for a bit more bass body and slightly lower upper mids.

Their recently bought EW300 fell victim to condensation on the mesh filters, like every IEM they've had, causing them to move to headphones.

negativebuild quality issues

Their new EW300 with the silver nozzle sounds muffled next to their partner's Kefine Klean; disappointed as they wanted a cleaner sound.

Their EW300's cap came loose and they fixed it with B7000 glue.

In their experience the EW300's vocals sit far back behind everything, combined with extreme sibilance for a terrible sound.

negativeharsh treble

Finds the EW300 still worth it: compact, solid metal shells that are comfortable without pressure on long sessions, and two nozzles that make an audible difference; the glossy finish is a fingerprint magnet.

positivecomfortable

After about six months of daily use their EW300 with gold nozzles went so dull in one ear from condensation that nothing fixed it; switched to the silver nozzles.

negativebuild quality issues

Owns the EW300; with the silver nozzles and two foam dampeners in each, even their most sibilant recordings are enjoyable.

positive

Bought the EW300 for its all-round gaming and music ability but finds it a bit lacklustre.

negative

Found the EW300 underwhelming for videos, music and games.

After many $25–50 IEMs, the EW300 finally let them separate Discord voices from game audio and music; advises care when cleaning the nozzle and filter.

Currently uses the EW300 for games and music and likes it, but it sometimes gets uncomfortable after a while.

The EW300 is their favourite set, sounding best to them stock and pushing their Thieaudios and Aful 5+2 out of rotation; the swappable nozzles or extra nozzle foam can tame the treble.

“got the ew300 and they are my favourite set. even my thieaudios and the Aful 5+2 (or all the other sets) dont get enough playtime anymore.”

Bought both the Juzear Defiant and the EW300 and preferred the Defiant; some higher pitches on the EW300 hurt their ears.

Finds the EW300 small enough to be very comfortable even to sleep in, and recommends it to anyone who likes its tuning.

Owns both the EW300 and Aful Explorer: the EW300 has more clarity, but they keep going back to the Explorer and no longer really use the EW300, and would also pick the Juzear Defiant for its bass.

“I prefer Explorer because it's very unique in a good way, I have more expensive sets and I go back to Explorer very often while I don't really use EW300 anymore.”
