Loves the Simgot EA500 LM for its upper-mid detail, no less detailed than their 270 dollar Origin, though the sub-bass can mask some music.
Of all their Simgots, the EA500LM with the gold nozzle strikes the best balance of brightness, detail and cost.
Owns the EA500 LM: great build, good detail and resolution, tactile bass and a balanced sound that can turn bright. The metal body can build up condensation that blocks the filter in hot, humid weather until it evaporates.
“I don't have the ew300, but I have the 500lm. From exp, great build quality, good detail retrieval and resolution, tactile bass, and more balanced sounding, but could be bright sounding.”
