Powering it from a Chord Hugo2, the IE 900 was their favourite until they heard the Z1R; the fit was excellent with Comply tips and treble was no problem.
Chose the IE 900 and is happy with it.
Had the IE 900 for about a month: sub-bass fills the room without mud when a song calls for it and stays authoritative but never overbearing; with EQ it rattles your brain.
Owns and likes the IE 900 but finds it overpriced for a single DD when the IE 600 sounds very similar.
Owns the IE 900 and HD 800 S; the IE 900 is like a fun HD 800 S, with insane imaging, layering, sparkly treble and wide stage plus great bass presence.
