Finds the Cadenza 4 a great set but a little too lean for them.
Has the Cadenza 4 and Studio 4 and finds the Cadenza 4 a really good value buy.
Recently got the Cadenza 4 and loves its fit and vocals.
Upgraded from the Xuan NV to the Cadenza 4; the vocals immediately stood out.
Owns the Cadenza 4 and Studio 4 and will never sell either; the Cadenza 4 is the more neutral.
Picked up the Cadenza 4 from AliExpress and was impressed by its packaging and sound for the price.
Finds the Cadenza 4 has clean, accurate timbre but lacks bass and can get shouty.
Likes both the Fission and Cadenza 4; the Cadenza 4 is more mellow, with more sub-bass.
The Cadenza 4 was their first IEM and is still their go-to for analytical listening, with great comfort and technicalities.
Has the Cadenza 4 and is considering the similarly tuned FiiO FD15.
Has a Cadenza 4 they've hardly used and wants to EQ it on a FiiO M21.
Spent over two months with a Cadenza 4 lent by a friend (not bought): expansive soundstage, pin-point imaging, natural timbre and forward vocals, and the most comfortable IEM they've worn, though thick shells may not suit small ears; bass could be tighter and long sessions can fatigue.
“Even after a full week of dedicated listening, I struggled to point to a single genuine flaw. This is an exceptionally good IEM. Sure, a few things could be refined: the bass could stand to be a touch tighter”
Owns the Cadenza 4 and thinks it's a good IEM, but not the best-bar-none that the review it replies to claims.
Won the Cadenza 4 in a raffle and still takes it on every trip. Hears a neutral, slightly clinical tuning with tight, punchy bass, clear vocals, treble sparkle without sibilance, a wide stage and good imaging that works well in FPS games; never found it bright.
“I have my Cadenza 4 and it's still the one I always bring with me on a trip. I also did a review on it back in Dec 2025 and it really didn't sound bright to me.”
Sold their Cadenza 4: they understand the appeal of its sparkly, well-rounded and technical treble, but it was too cold for them, with too forward mids and sub-bass-focused bass that lacked body.
“Still it was too cold for me. Too forward in the midrange. The bass was too subbass focused, and I am far from being a basshead. It lacked body imho.”
Has owned and sold many IEMs but will never sell their Cadenza 4, still a favourite for female vocals; recommends Baroque Stage tips with it instead of the Final tips.
Thinks the Cadenza 4 is overlooked for being too normal: no huge bass, good but not elevated mids and treble that can be a bit much, but fantastic with narrow-bore tips, like a good neutral open-back in IEM form, with great accessories and a terrific fit.
“It doesn’t have crazy bass, the mids are good but not elevated, and the treble can get a little much without the right tips. But with a narrow bore tip I think they sound fantastic.”
