Finds the Eldar more of the same KZ: a Gale with more bass and treble, with slightly metallic treble.
Recently got the Eldar for $7.50 and finds it better than $50 single DDs like the Wan'er and Klean.
Has the Eldar and finds it great, burning it in to reduce the treble a bit.
Owns two KZ Eldar bought for $2–6 and calls it their favourite ultra-budget IEM: a refined, balanced V-shape that isn't fatiguing, and a huge open soundstage for small-group jazz; the cable is weak and the tips need replacing straight away.
“The Eldars are not "flat" in the traditional sense. They have a refined, balanced V-shaped sound signature that shifts away from KZ's historically aggressive, piercing budget V-shape.”
