Very happy with the Strada: vocal-forward and intimate, less treble energy than the 109 Pro, and it takes EQ well.

Their Strada has been great, a very intimate-sounding headphone.
Got the Strada under a week ago and fell in love: perfect build and comfort, great sound, but the headband adjustment is fiddly.
After a couple of weeks: U-shaped but fun and incredibly comfortable for a closed back, though they lose some vocal depth.
Bought a nearly new Strada for 449 pounds: the best headphones they've had and the most comfortable they've worn.
Bought the Strada for their girlfriend and was surprised it outperformed the Sony MDR-Z1R in many respects for the price.
Tried the Strada but the earpads rubbed against their glasses and made noise.
Their Strada sounded hollow with no bass, but it turned out the 4.4mm cable wasn't fully seated.
Has the Strada and says it sounds fantastic.
Owns the Strada and finds it not bassy: reserved mid-bass, solid sub-bass, so they added a low shelf EQ.
Their Strada sounded tinny until the 3.5mm plug was pressed fully in.
The Strada is the first Meze they like: not dark, no treble peaks, fatigue-free, and very easy to drive from a dongle.
Bought the Strada as closed-backs for vocal tracking in their studio, chosen for comfort and design over the HD 480 PRO. Surprised how little EQ it needs: a touch more around 125 Hz and a small 4 kHz resonance, otherwise clean and non-fatiguing, an excellent daily driver.
“I think Meze did a great job making these sound clean and non-aggressive, especially compared to the stock Empys which, although sound great, were pretty fatiguing to my ears.”
Disliked the Strada in a store demo, where it sounded thin, but once they had their own pair at home it sounded much warmer, as some reviewers described; thinks pad wear explains the difference.
“I remember initially auditioning them in a store and not liking them (sounded very thin), but when I got them home, they sounded much warmer, similar to what some reviewers were saying.”
