Bought the 99 Classics V2 for $349; too bright and fatiguing on a Topping DX5 II, warm and punchy on an iFi Zen DAC 3.

Just received the 99 Classics V2 and they sound pretty damn good, beating expectations; finds the pads a bit thin.
Uses the 99 Classics V2 with the acoustic damper: smooth, comfortable, Sundara-like soundstage, beautifully made, worth $350.
Chose the 99 Classics V2: less V-shaped than the original, a big step up from the Neo, comfortable and isolating.
Just received the 99 Classics V2 from Thomann: likes the sound, fit and passive isolation but has a headband complaint.
The 99 Classics V2 barely fits their large head; that's their only issue.
Fulfilled a childhood dream with the 99 Classics V2: comfortable and light, with a warm, musical sound, deep soundstage and more mature, balanced bass than the first generation; highs can be a bit sharp and the metal headband rings if tapped.
