Prefers the FiiO JT3 to the Altruva for build quality, comfort and less warmth.

Recently picked up the Altruva and likes its gaming sound, but low clamp puts weight on top of the ears.
Got the Altruva as their first open-back: comfort and build are the main pros, sound a bit bloated.
Uses their Ellipse more because the Altruva hurts their left ear.
Finds the Altruva keeps a good amount of punchy mid-bass, with less sub-bass than closed sets.
The Altruva is the most comfortable headphone they've used and still used often; others sound better, but EQ to their HRTF closes most of the gap.
Owns the open-back Kiwi Ears Altruva and finds it sounds great for music at a low price.
