Further listening confirmed the PX8 feels solid and punchy.
Finds the PX8 good-sounding with good mids and highs, but not as warm as they would like and with lacklustre bass.
Cannot tell the difference between the PX8 with Tidal and their Sony WH-1000XM4 with Spotify.
The leather on their PX8 headband is coming off.
Just bought the PX8 on the praise and finds it sounds a bit flat after their Sony XM3.
Their new PX8 makes a boomy bass noise when walking, even with noise cancelling off.
Was not very impressed with the PX8 at first until trying other sources.
Is on their third PX8 under warranty because of build issues.
Three months in, calls the PX8 the best headphone they have used and their daily driver.
Bought the PX8 to replace a Sony XM3 for travel but is frustrated by a never-ending issue with it.
Found the Sony XM5, XM6 and Bose QC Ultra noticeably muddier than the PX8.
Got the PX8 yesterday and is blown away by its clear, detailed sound where every voice can be heard.

Not an audiophile, but the PX8 has them rediscovering listening to music.
Uses the PX8 with Wavelet EQ on their phone and is happy with it.
Bought the PX8 to replace a QC45 and is returning it: bloated, muddy sound where familiar instruments disappear, not fixed by firmware, cable or EQ, though the build is phenomenal and they look beautiful.
“I tried the bowers and on songs where I know where certain instruments are I can’t hear them at all. I have to really struggle on some mixes to hear more than 60% of the song.”
Hasn't found Bluetooth headphones that please them and kept the PX8 only for phone calls, using IEMs otherwise.
Bought the PX8 after loving the Pi8 and found it garbage, beaten by cheap KZ IEMs they own.
Had to build their own EQ app to make the PX8 palatable; with aftermarket pads they can wear it 12 hours straight, but after almost two years the battery lasts under 20 hours.
Bought a used PX8 for €150 three days ago after returning a Beyerdynamic Amiron Wireless that didn't seal: less clear and more bassy than the Beyer, but very good for office and commuting.
“They are not as "clear" in sound as the BDs and more on the bass side, but for the purpose I bought them, office and comute, i think they are very good headphones.”
Recently bought a discounted PX8: before the firmware update the bass overpowered mediocre mids, after it the sound became balanced and detailed; with the real leather and build, a steal at about $350.
“After the update (which ended up taking a full hour), the sound became surprising balanced and detailed. In fact, I wish the bass were a little more bloated like before, lol.”
The PX8 was their first pair of headphones, and after buying the PX8 S2 and Bathys MG they still prefer it: the S2 has better bass and overall quality, but the PX8's reverb-rich, cinematic sound and feel suit their loud listening best.
“I did see improvements especially in bass and overall quality but those differences lacked in comparison to the overall sound and feel i get from the px8.”
