Really likes their ATH-AWAS: a lovely midrange that is almost never strident, good snare and cymbal crack, though no bass rumble.

Their ATH-AWAS has a divine midrange with superbly presented vocals, more natural than the ATH-AP2000Ti.
Their ATH-AWAS has very nice bass slam on a vintage McIntosh preamp and tube amp, and changes a lot with the right setup.
Loves how their ATH-AWAS presents female voices, with its magic in the lower mids and upper bass.
Owned and sold the ATH-AWAS (and ADX5000) because they couldn't get along with the Audio-Technica house sound, which they call treble murder.
