Had buyer's remorse with their LCD-XC because it never sounded complete, until a cheap fix turned it into the best headphone they have used.
Their LCD-XC has almost no low end, with less sub-bass than the LCD-X they had before, and they suspect a faulty unit.
Likes the sound of their new LCD-XC, but their right ear touches the driver and it starts to hurt quickly.
Bought a used LCD-XC for vinyl listening, but it did not sound right with their amp-only setup, so they are switching to the HD 800.
Quick impressions of their LCD-XC 2021: heavy as expected, with strong technical performance, and they use Resolve's EQ for a bass bump and tamer treble.
Their brand-new LCD-XC produced no sound at all on three different amps.
Calls their LCD-XC the best-sounding headphones they have owned, but they are super heavy and the headband is the worst they have used.
Found their LCD-XC 2021 disappointing; Resolve's EQ much improved the tonality, but the dynamics and texture issues remained.
Owned the LCD-XC and was not impressed.
Preferred their LCD-XC over the LCD-X for sub-bass rumble, but it sounds cuppy and has stronger slam than the MM-500 without its naturalness.
The LCD-XC is the only closed-back they really liked, because it sounds open rather than like a tin can.
