Their new LCD-4z revealed details on a classical SACD their HD 800 S never did, with more and better bass than their LCD-2 Classic and lighter, more comfortable fit.
Owns the LCD-4z and finds it flat out amazing paired with the Creative SXFI, with sound coming from in front rather than inside the head.
Recently bought the LCD-4z on sale and found it sounded wonderful on a Moon 230 HAD.
Owned the LCD-4 years ago and the LCD-4z recently; the 4z's bass is phenomenal on its own, but it's slightly brighter in the upper mids and never matched the 4, so they let it go.
