Owned the LCD-2F but sold it because they were missing the highs.
Their new LCD-2 is smooth, huge and heavy with strong clamp; bass is very nice and instrument separation is better than any of their other headphones.
Uses the LCD-2 for most of their electronic and experimental music; has also owned the LCD-2 Classic and finds them very similar, with the LCD-2 having slightly better treble.
After six months with their LCD-2s, a tube amp made the highs smoother and the bass tighter; they can wear them 2+ hours without discomfort.

Selling their LCD-2 because it is too heavy for their neck over 8+ hour days, even though their HD 6XX sounded flat and dead in comparison.
Bought a used LCD-2 and loves the detailed sound, a big step above their HD 6XX, but it is so hot and heavy they need to take it off by the end of an album.
Bought a used LCD-2 pre-Fazor, swapped the dissolving pads for Dekoni Hybrids, and is in love, saying they may have reached endgame.
Their LCD-2 on a Woo WA6 is their daily driver and they love it for quiet listening, but open backs leak too much for a noisy home.

Has owned the LCD-2 for many years and loves the sound, but the clamping force makes it uncomfortable for long sessions.
Still owns an LCD-2 that was upgraded to Fazor drivers after a driver failure, but feels many newer headphones easily outperform it for the money.
Their LCD-2 Fazor sounds completely muffled by today's standards.
Owned the LCD-2 Rev1 and thought its treble was horrendously recessed.
Owns the LCD-2 and Arya Organic; prefers the Audeze sound but reaches for the Arya more because of the LCD-2's comfort issues.
Owns the LCD-2 pre-Fazor and has not found anything that sounds like it.
Owns the LCD-2F (shedua) and loves how it looks, but for classical finds it sounds bad without EQ and prefers their HD 800 S.
Loved their LCD-2 rev 1 with precise, amazing bass, but it lacked the quantity to engage with bass-oriented music.
Their LCD-2 is their favourite headphone by far for how it presents music, and they feel no need to upgrade.
Sold their LCD-2 because they used it too rarely but misses it and has yet to find a headphone as enjoyable to listen to.
Was lukewarm on their LCD-2 until trying the Roon EQ preset with a balanced cable, after which it became god-tier.

Owned the Audeze LCD-2 but couldn't wear it for more than an hour without their head and neck hurting.
The wood around an XLR connector on their pre-Fazor LCD-2 Rev 1 has started to crack.
Their original wood-connector LCD-2 cracked there; wood glue fixed it.
Uses their old pre-Fazor LCD-2 occasionally; the vocals really are incredible with no EQ.
Says the build quality on their LCD-2 is insane.
After 100+ headphones, the LCD-2 is their favourite under $1k: decently wide soundstage and some of the best instrument separation they own; they add a little sub-bass via EQ.
The LCD-2's weight hurt their neck; never had issues with their HD 600 or HD 660S2.
The LCD-2 is what they thought the HD 650 should sound like; every time they sell an LCD and try something else, they end up buying another.
