Has used the Chu II for about two years and really likes its sound signature, though it sometimes feels a bit too flat.

Bought the Chu II after seeing the hype and can't understand it: they sound muffled and distant with any tips or fit, neither clear nor fun. Only the packaging and metal shells impressed; prefers the Sennheiser IE 100 PRO.
“They sound like a cheap pair of gas station ear buds that you'd buy in a pinch and plan to discard. They sound muffled and distant with any tips or in-ear position.”
Has used the 3.5 mm Chu II as a first IEM for almost six months with an Audiocular D07 dongle, and finds it crisp, clear and far better than their old headphones, small and comfortable for long sessions. Notes the 3.5 mm version has no mic, the dongle made a clear difference, and recommends memory-foam tips over the stock ones.
“Another thing is that the Moondrop Chu II are small and quite comfortable in my eyes, and I can wear them for long periods of time without headaches or dizziness.”
