Strada

Bought the Strada as closed-backs for vocal tracking in their studio, chosen for comfort and design over the HD 480 PRO. Surprised how little EQ it needs: a touch more around 125 Hz and a small 4 kHz resonance, otherwise clean and non-fatiguing, an excellent daily driver.

“I think Meze did a great job making these sound clean and non-aggressive, especially compared to the stock Empys which, although sound great, were pretty fatiguing to my ears.”

Disliked the Strada in a store demo, where it sounded thin, but once they had their own pair at home it sounded much warmer, as some reviewers described; thinks pad wear explains the difference.
