Came back to IEMs with the Cadenza II after a Moondrop Aria and tested it with two dongles. Well built, light and comfortable, with great technical performance, tight sub-bass and good detail, but finds it lean, bright and unforgiving, with vocals that turn shouty or sibilant; selling it and would not recommend it.
“Very unforgiving on poorly mixed tracks. Not good if you listen to multiple genres from various eras. Vocals can easily become too shouty or shrill and sometimes sibilant. Vocals sound too dry and “lonely”?”
