Noire X

Just got the Noire X and is impressed: superb, sturdy build better than their HE1000 Stealth, a handy foldable design and soft pads, punchy bass with real sub-bass rumble, present mids and polite, non-fatiguing treble. Slightly more clamp and a bit less dynamic than the HE1000 Stealth, but lively and fun.

“I just got the DCA Noire X and I am impressed, and I was not expecting that. I was under the impression that DCA headphones lack dynamics and are bass light due to most reviews online and YouTube videos.”

Finds the Noire X pretty good but can't get past its treble, and the DCA E3 was worse for them, which surprised them since the HD 800 S and Ananda give them no trouble. The DCA Core solved those issues and they are considering it instead.

“Noir X are pretty good, but the treble just kills me. With DCA E3 it was even worse for me. I was quite surprised, because I have 0 issues with HD800s and Ananda.”
