After the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro wouldn't fit, the Momentum True Wireless 5 feels great so far, similar in size to their old Buds+.
Owns the Momentum True Wireless 5 and rates it; you won't go wrong with it.
For treble-heavy metal, the Momentum True Wireless 5 scores 9/10 without EQ and sounds natural and accurate.
Got the Momentum True Wireless 5 for comparison: the same open, neutral Sennheiser sound as their MTW2, MTW3 and Momentum 4, with excellent quality alongside the XM6 and Status Pro X.
Rates the Momentum True Wireless 5 above their AirPods Pro 3 and WF-1000XM6 for sound, mic clarity, ANC, transparency, EQ and fit.
The Momentum True Wireless 5 sounds way better than their AirPods Pro 3, so they use it at the gym.
Has used the Momentum True Wireless 5 for almost two weeks and it became the pair they'd keep for everyday use. The housing pressed on a sensitive ear until Dunu S&S tips moved it out; after that comfortable. Vocals, clarity and separation beat their Technics AZ100, which still has more bass, and the ANC is excellent, though Bose over-ears cancel more.
“The mids and highs have this clarity that gets surprisingly close to the feeling I associate with good wired headphones, separation is excellent, and the presentation feels spacious rather than everything being pushed directly into your head.”
